As a second-generation attorney, Mr. Thompson has witnessed first-hand how vital a
lawyer can be in effectuating positive results for clients during one of the most
difficult times in their life. Mr. Thompson helps clients solve their most complex and challenging legal problems. He concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury and contracts. As a former professional athlete, he applies his natural competitive drive to advocate for his clients and obtain optimal results.
Client engagement is central to successful litigation and negotiation, and Mr. Thompson is committed to maintaining a high level of communication. He takes the time to truly involve the client and incorporate their concerns, values and feedback. Mr. Thompson manages the relationship transparently so that his clients can see how their interests are being served at every stage of the litigation process.

Max K. Kim
Associate Attorney
BIO
Max K. Kim is an Associate Attorney at Thompson & Associates, LLC, bringing valuable experience in civil litigation, insurance defense, and legal advocacy.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kim worked at Wilson Elser, a nationally recognized law firm, where he gained experience handling complex insurance and civil litigation matters. His work included legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, preparing discovery, and assisting with litigation strategy. His background provides valuable insight into how insurance companies evaluate and defend claims.
Mr. Kim earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School, where he participated in the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal and was a member of the Mock Trial Team, advancing to the semifinals of the National Cohen Mock Trial Competition. He earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Rutgers University, graduating cum laude.
